More than 1,000 pubs will be included in Punch Taverns' new division of more marginal pubs.

The MA reported last week that the Turnaround Division has been created to help struggling sites. The move is part of a restructuring of the estate that means fewer operations director.
A Punch spokesman said: "This Turnaround Division will be made up of in excess of 1,000 pubs and will be split into two regions - the North and the Midlands/South - overseen by two senior operations managers.
"Andy Hodgson, currently regional operations director, will carry out an interim role as divisional director for the new Turnaround Division.
"In this role, Andy will report to Kevin Georgel, operations director, and work with him and the two senior operations managers to establish and build momentum in this part of the business.
"The senior operations manager roles for the Turnaround Division will be appointed shortly.
"We are currently in the process of communicating with our customers and will be in a position to confirm further details in the next few weeks."
